For the past decade, Rita Benelian has been involved in the westside Thanksgiving celebration including sit-down dinner and children’s carnival. She has been involved in The Los Angeles Mission, which provides help, hope, and opportunity to men, women, and children in need. There are more people becoming homeless for the first time now than at any time in Los Angeles history.
