Kayat Designs is a boutique design studio specializing in luxury residential architecture, interior design, estate landscaping, and bespoke custom elements, including fully custom-designed furniture and ironwork created uniquely for each client.
Established in 1990, the studio is led by Kamil Kayat and has delivered refined private residences across Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Los Angeles, and internationally, including France, Switzerland, England, and beyond.
Each project is approached holistically from architectural concept and spatial planning to interior refinement, landscape integration, and the design of custom furnishings and architectural details. Every element is carefully considered to create a cohesive, balanced, and timeless living environment.
While Kayat Designs has traditionally been engaged in full-scale, end-to-end residential projects, the studio now offers private consulting services in response to increasing demand from clients seeking experienced design guidance without full project commitment.

DESIGNER
Kamil Kayat is a luxury residential designer with over 35 years of international experience in architectural design, interior design, and estate environments. As the founder of Kayat Designs, established in 1990, he has designed and guided private residential projects across Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Los Angeles, and internationally.
His work has encompassed the complete design of residences, including architectural layout, interior environments, landscape design, and fully custom elements, allowing each project to be developed as a cohesive and unified whole.
His approach reflects a refined balance between European traditional design and contemporary living, often incorporating an eclectic sensibility that results in highly individual and timeless environments. With a strong understanding of proportion, spatial flow, and detail, Kamil creates residences that feel balanced, elegant, and enduring.
Educated in England and Switzerland, and a graduate of the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, Kamil combines international training with decades of hands-on experience. His design process is grounded in clarity, structure, and the ability to resolve complex layouts and floor plans with precision.
Rather than following trends, his work is guided by long-term livability and design integrity. He is particularly known for bringing clarity, direction, and refinement to projects at critical decision stages, ensuring that every element contributes to a cohesive vision.
Today, in response to high demand, Kamil provides private design consulting for homeowners, developers, and international clients seeking experienced guidance in luxury residential design. His consulting focuses on layout, interior planning, and overall design direction, offering clear and thoughtful solutions throughout the design process.
